Flight Path of Heroes Aerial Photography Kit

Have you ever wondered how the military made such accurate maps during the First World War? Loads and loads of pictures taken from the sky! As part of the A Nation Soars project, the Can Geo Education team has created a set of kits so that your class can get hands-on experience exploring aerial photography. These learning materials will provide teachers with the tools to facilitate cartography lessons with the guidance of famous cartographer Chris Brackley. Students will discover the important role cartography played in winning the war and learn how to make their very own maps.
