“Organize a renewable energy fair for your school”; “Research a solution to a non-traditional energy problem in a developing nation.” Those are just two of 25 energy-themed tasks classes can complete in the Classroom Energy Diet Challenge as they vie for prizes worth a total of $40,000. The 1,274 participating Canadian classrooms have until April 24, 2014, to finish as many challenges as possible. For more information go to energydiet.canadiangeographic.ca.
