Energy IQ launch

The final phase of Canadian Geographic Education’s Energy IQ program, created in partnership with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, is set to launch in February 2014. New to the website is a members’ centre, where teachers can create their own lesson plans about energy literacy and share their own resources with others. See more at energyiq.canadiangeographic.ca.

Canadian Geographic magazine is an excellent resource for teachers and students. It provides posters in both official languages, such as the St. Lawrence Seaway map, as well as short geography related news items suitable for current events. In addition, the June issue each year is devoted to environmental issues such as wind energy.”
